IT Asset Management & Support Executive
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Asset Management & Support Executive to assist in managing IT assets and providing basic technical support across the organization. This role involves tracking hardware and software inventory, performing first-level troubleshooting, and supporting day-to-day IT operations to ensure smooth functioning of systems and equipment.
- Maintain and manage IT asset inventory (laptops, desktops, peripherals, software licenses)
- Track asset allocation, movement, and lifecycle (procurement to disposal)
- Perform Level 1 troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues (Wi-Fi, printers, email, etc.)
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and standard applications
- Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes (asset allocation, system setup, access removal)
- Monitor and ensure proper functioning of IT equipment and escalate issues when required
- Maintain records of assets, configurations, and support tickets
- Coordinate with vendors for asset procurement, repairs, and warranty claims
- Support basic network connectivity and user access issues
- Ensure compliance with IT policies related to asset usage and security
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent certifications)
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common applications
- Familiarity with asset tracking tools or inventory management systems is a plus
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, Wi-Fi)
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
