IT Asset Management & Support Executive

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Asset Management & Support Executive to assist in managing IT assets and providing basic technical support across the organization. This role involves tracking hardware and software inventory, performing first-level troubleshooting, and supporting day-to-day IT operations to ensure smooth functioning of systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage IT asset inventory (laptops, desktops, peripherals, software licenses)
  • Track asset allocation, movement, and lifecycle (procurement to disposal)
  • Perform Level 1 troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues (Wi-Fi, printers, email, etc.)
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and standard applications
  • Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes (asset allocation, system setup, access removal)
  • Monitor and ensure proper functioning of IT equipment and escalate issues when required
  • Maintain records of assets, configurations, and support tickets
  • Coordinate with vendors for asset procurement, repairs, and warranty claims
  • Support basic network connectivity and user access issues
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies related to asset usage and security


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent certifications)
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common applications
  • Familiarity with asset tracking tools or inventory management systems is a plus
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, Wi-Fi)
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
