Junior AI Engineer

About the Role
We're looking for a Junior AI Engineer to join our AI team and grow into a well-rounded ML practitioner. You'll support model development, data pipelines, and experimentation under the guidance of senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and testing machine learning models under senior engineer guidance
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze datasets for training and evaluation
- Write and maintain scripts for data pipelines and model training workflows
- Run experiments, track results, and help document findings
- Support debugging and performance tuning of existing models
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for production ML
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Solid foundation in Python and basic ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow)
- Understanding of core ML concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, evaluation metrics)
- Familiarity with SQL and basic data manipulation
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- Good communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Nice to Have
- Internship or academic project experience with ML/AI
- Exposure to cloud platforms or version control (Git)
